Melopero Perpetuo LoRa is an advanced electronic board built around the powerful Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller. It integrates a LoRa radio module (EMB-LR1276S from Embit S.r.l.), enabling robust wireless communication capabilities.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the board includes a sophisticated LiPo battery charger that can be seamlessly connected to a small solar panel. This feature. allows Melopero Perpetuo to run indefinitely on solar power and a compact battery, making it perfect for off-grid projects.

Key features of Melopero Perpetuo include:

  • Raspberry Pi RP2350 Dual Cortex-M33 or Hazard3 microcontroller
  • LoRa Module with Low Power Mode: Operates in the 868 MHz carrier frequency, providing efficient long-range communication while conserving energy.
  • LiPo battery charger with power path: can recharge the battery from a power supply, a USB port or a small solar panel.
  • Dual Voltage Regulators: Ensure stable power supply for various components.
  • Qwiic Connector for Sensors: Facilitates easy connection of a wide range of sensors, powered by a dedicated, disable-able voltage regulator to save energy when not in use.
  • 8MB of flash memory
  • User and RGB LED: Includes a user LED and a WS2812C RGB LED (Neopixel) for visual indicators.
  • USB-C Connector: Facilitates easy programming and power supply.
  • Castellated Holes: Allow easy attachment to other PCBs for enhanced functionality.
  • Versatile Breakout Pins: Provide a wide array of GPIO, bus peripherals, and power pins, offering flexibility for diverse applications.
  • Debug Connector: Provides easy access for debugging and development purposes.
  • Bootsel and Reset Buttons: Allow for quick and convenient control over board operations and firmware updates.

Melopero Perpetuo LoRa is a versatile and energy-efficient solution, ideal for developers looking to create innovative, sustainable, and wirelessly connected projects.

WARNING: The maximum charge current is set to 400 mA. We strongly recommend using a LiPo battery with a capacity of at least 800 mAh.
